I purchased this as a makeup remover, but it doesn't really remove the makeup. It's only a base and powder, so it's not a heavy makeup, but it still doesn't remove as much as the remover I've been using. I have dry, sensitive skin, and it was certainly gentle on my skin and didn't stain my skin, but it doesn't come off easily, so I end up rubbing my skin over and over again, which I don't think is good for my skin. I think it's better to use it as a wipe-off lotion rather than as a makeup remover. My skin feels smooth after using it, so I think it's a good product as long as it removes makeup properly.
