I'm a big fan of Amish Country Popcorn kernels, so it saddens me to leave this review. Their popcorn kernels are high quality, so I bought the seasoning to go along. Unfortunately, this seasoning was a disappointment and will be going in the trash. It tastes fake, even smells fake. Which surprised me because the ingredients seem simple enough- sugar, brown sugar, nonfat dry milk- are the first three ingredients. However, I don't know if it's the 'less than 2% silicon dioxide added to prevent caking' that makes it taste Off. I found it to be unpalatable.
The plastic jar's lid has both a pour and sprinkle option. Be careful though, the sprinkle side comes out very fast. Even when I used the product sparingly, I did not like the taste. I will continue to buy Amish Country Popcorn kernels, but will make the effort to boil sugar for caramel instead.
